Dano Forte's Juke Joint Freak Show is a one man band out of Costa Mesa California. Playing old time rhythm and blues, rockabilly, honkytonk and surf on a regular basis around the Southern California area and overseas.
The Juke Joint Freak Show rose from the ashes of a broken down blues band from the ashes came what is now the Juke Joint Freak Show. A giant pot of American music taking influences from blues greats like Slim Harpo, Muddy Waters, Howling Wolf, RL Burnside and Robert Johnson. Throw in some good old Johnny Cash and Little Vince Taylor, Jack Scott and some Link Wray, Dueune Eddie.
We have played numerous festivals and opened the show for some great bands like Green Day, Social Distortion, X, The Blasters, T-Model Ford, Shooter Jennings, Lukas Nelson, The Cadillac Tramps, Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band, Bid Sandy and the Fly Rite Boys, James Intveld, Joe Buck Yourself, Leo Bud Welch, Jake La Botz, Paul Pigat, Zander Schloss, Holley Golightly, The White Buffalo and Marc Ford just to name a few.
