Why Go Listen Live?  Well, it was in response to the question we often asked ourselves what we wanted to do as the weekend approached.  And often our answer was "Why not go somewhere that has live music?" and at the same time enjoy a nice meal/drinks/appetizers.

As we set off to do these things we determined it would be helpful to us if we created an online database to track the many venues that we wanted to explore while on our live music adventure.

So it began.  The more we explored, the more we added to the database.  And the more we added to the database, the more we explored!  It was like a perpetual fun machine, because there are so many talented musicians and fun places to be explored!  And along the way we've met some really cool people, whether they were other customers like us, or the musicians and venue owners.

Then somewhere along the way we realized we should share our database with others, so that everyone else can explore and have fun just like us.  So here it is, in all it's glory.  It still has a long way to go, but you should've seen the early versions (yikes!) to get an idea of how far our little project has come.

As we continue on our journey, we'll keep expanding and improving Go Listen Live.  We hope you'll enjoy this as much as we do, and also encourage you to submit comments, suggestions or recommendations for musicians and venues.
